Position Description
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and accuracy of natural gas measurement and control facilities located in the Herscher, IL area. This includes a variety of flow computers, chromatographs, SCADA equipment, regulators, transducers, electronic and pneumatic controllers, relief valves, orifice meters, turbine meters, ultrasonic meters, positive displacement meters, and rotary meters. Performs frequent audits of custody transfer and control data. Required to respond to after hour call outs due to equipment and/or operational problems and must be willing to work overtime on an as needed basis.
Educational Requirements (minimal requirements and any additional education or training that would be helpful)
Associate degree in a technical discipline is required.

4. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
5. Must be proficient in computer software applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Windows 2000, and XP)and be able to manipulate large spreadsheets and databases.
6. Ability to actively support the region''s safety program.
7. Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic, electronic, and electrical equipment and controls.
8. Ability to perform basic mechanical work associated with natural gas facilities.
9. Will be required to maneuver 100 pound products with the assistance of safety devices such as bottle carts or hand carts.
10. Required to work outside in all environmental conditions.
11. Must possess and maintain a valid Illinois driver's license and have a driving record acceptable to the company.
12. Physical requirements include but may not be limited to walk up and down stairs/ladders, negotiate uneven surfaces and carry up to 50 pounds.
13. Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and high level of performance.
14. Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s), adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules, as well as, take on additional job responsibilities as needed.
15. Other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge (above the minimum requirements; not required, but advantageous in this position)
1. Experience with flow computers, chromatographs, gas quality analyzers, SCADA equipment, electronic and pneumatic controllers, regulators, transducers, and all the metering listed above.
2. Knowledge of AGA, API, and GPA standards.
3. Knowledge of National Electrical Code philosophies and installation requirements.
4. Experience with computer interface software, networking, and data file management.
5. Knowledge of the tariffs and specific operating agreements for natural gas measurement facilities

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
