Parts Specialist

Welcome to Stoller International! We have been working side by side with farmers in Central Illinois for more than 85 years.
With our five locations we can leverage an extensive range of parts, service, and both new and used equipment.
We re hiring a Parts Specialist to join our team in Herscher, IL (about 70 miles south of Chicago).
In this role you will be providing excellent customer service by face-to-face and over-the-phone communication with our customers, providing sales and solutions to all their part and equipment servicing needs.

What you will be doing:

  • Providing excellent customer service while providing sales and solutions for their part and equipment needs.
  • Face to face and on the phone communication with customers maintaining a respectful and positive attitude.
  • Assist our service technicians in obtaining farm and agriculture parts for their jobs.
  • Work closely with customers to obtain necessary authorization and documentation relating to their parts orders.
  • Receipting in of parts and responsible for putting away and pricing parts.
  • Complete invoicing and collecting procedures in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining all department tools, equipment and department clean and orderly.
  • Follow up call with customers regarding any parts specials.
  • Adapting to more responsibilities as they present themselves.

This job is for you if you have:

  • General knowledge of farm and agriculture equipment.
  • Educated in or knowledgeable about the Agriculture Industry.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Computer skills - general knowledge of operating systems such as:
    Microsoft Office, Email, Excel Spreadsheets, etc.
  • Exceptional Organization Skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Time Management skills.
  • Self-Motivated; show initiative and direction.
  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • Drivers License.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
